So yesterday went very well and as you can probably tell from the title….it’s a little boy!! I’m so happy that I can now talk to our little guy and use his name!! It was a very interesting ultrasound! First we found out that it was a boy by our doctor telling us in a not so sudden way, “Hmmm there’s one leg, two leg….3 legs…” WAIT WHAT? You’re saying it’s a boy right? Hahah yes yes that is what he was saying indeed. And our little man was very sleepy because he wasn’t moving around at all, I guess he isn’t too use to me being awake before 9am. And this is one of the most amazing things, we saw him looking around! There was a little white piece moving back and forth inside his eye socket…and it was him looking around while resting on his arm. It was just an amazing ultrasound and I’m so happy to know my baby boy is healthy (weighing in at 2lbs already!).

Sorry I didn’t get to make this post earlier I was at my mother-in-law’s last night & then today I was doing laundry/working all day. Oh and the winner is Jennifer, please leave a comment with your email so I can send your prize on over!

Little cupcake is on a kicking spree, I’d be surprised if it didn’t come out being a black belt! Just sitting here typing sends the baby into a crazy fit, if I’m standing there’s no kicking but sitting is not something this baby wants me to do. Tonight I think JP’s family is going to have a BBQ, should be yummy. And then tomorrow is my little sister’s birthday party. And Sunday is our day of resting & cuddling hopefully.

October 6th is my next doctor’s appointment along with ultrasound! A big woo hoo! Woo hoo! Oh and I wish I could find my memory card reader darnit! I have a memory card almost full…sure I have 3 empty ones but I’d like to dump this one out on my computer & flickr. *sigh*

Lately my little cupcake has been kicking up a storm for me…not so much for J.P. though. I promise it seems like every time J.P. puts his hand on the usual kick spots the baby calms down and nothing…he’s felt the kiddo kick once though. My stomach is growing so quick, it’s amazing to think my body can do this. The human body is capable of some pretty amazing things, it’s just crazy whenever I read about the new things the baby is suppose to be doing.

Isn’t there enough porn on the internet to keep guys from being total creeps? So yesterday I was cleaning the inside of my car out because well…I’m pretty sure something could be living in the mess that was my car. Well I’m allllmost done just spraying the seats down with stain remover & hosing off my mats (heavy duty rubber ones) well I start rubbing the back seat down with a cloth…a car stops in front of my house….parks. Okey no biggie people always park on the street in this neighborhood, well he makes a point to be parallel with my car and his front is facing where he could easily take off. Ooookey did he really have to park right there, most people would pull up so they wouldn’t be so close to my driveway… And then he sits with his car on and watches as I’m scrubbing the back seat. I get up and go to the other side of the car (the side farthest from him) so I could easily look over at him because at this point I’m wondering if he’s going to try something. I spray the front down without bending over cause I’m not giving this dude a boob shot to glare at. I finally get that he’s not letting up on watching me so I throw everything into my trunk (cleaning supplies & semi wet car mats), roll up my windows & then walk in locking the front bottom door and my front door.

Once I got upstairs I opened a window that is covered by trees but from upstairs you can see the exact spot he’s sitting in…and no doubt his body is still facing my car. I have a feeling he thought I would come back downstairs, but uh no I’m not an idiot & don’t have the time to be found dead in someone’s trunk. Well I called the police that are actually hired for JUST my neighborhood (long story but i live in a house owned by the museum in front of my house) but they were all being used by the city because of hurricane Ike. And then as I got off the phone the guy took off, fucking asshole.

I thought just MAAAAAYBE I was wrong but I could feel him looking at me & whenever I turned around he WAS looking at me…I was pretty sure but him just taking off made me SURE of it. Seriously couldn’t he have gone to look at some porn, I’m sure that would have been a hella more interesting. Okey sorry for the total rant but I just don’t understand what would compel someone to act in such a manner.

No electricity for a week plus. Holy freaking caveman! Seriously the Houston heat combined with my windows being so old and painted over that they don’t open made for some horribly icky sleep. Don’t get me wrong I did take up some offers to sleep over at family’s but everyone has firm beds that was even worse then heat. I rather take the heat with my pillow top + memory foam bed topper.

We just got our electricity last night and ohhh man was it nice to sleep on MY bed with my pets with A/C!!! Best sleep in a LONG time! Right now I’m at the Starbucks in a grocery store down the street from my house because I’m still with out internet. I’m pulling together my coupons, shopping lists and all that fun stuff. But I’m pissed my downstairs neighbor stole half of my newspaper (front section & coupons), just because I’m not home doesn’t give you fucking dibs on a paper I PAY for! And it had coupons for soup I wanted and that would come very cheap this week…grrrr. LOL I’m being nutso but it hasn’t been the happiest of weeks. I’m just happy all of my family is safe and nothing too major happened to anyone’s houses. Well I have to go off and shop..since I have NO groceries (only a few cans of Monster in my fridge).

OH OH OH and can someone recommend some healthy sides for dinner. We fell off our healthy eattingness (um hello made up word!) during the summer and are getting back on because eatting like shit makes us feel like shit. LOL So sides! They can be fresh or even packaged, as long as they aren’t horrible for you. Thanks!!!

A tale of a whale named Pamela… I have yet to gain any weight but all my weight is shifting to my front which has people’s jaw drop but at the same time tell me I look great (aka not fat). My “waist” you know those curvies on the side(?) seem like they sucked in which gives me even more of a defined shape I think. LOL No making fun of my hair either, I was tired and just didn’t feel like fixing it last night. This Houston heat makes small “heated” tasks hell (washing dishes, straightening hair, cooking). My grandma saw me yesterday for the first time since I’ve been pregnant (in a bikini at that!) and told me, “I’m so proud of you”….. LOL Seriously it’s not THAT hard to get pregnant, well atleast for me it wasn’t. I just thought that was one of the funniest reactions to me being pregnant.

I felt the little cupcake KICK me for the first (and so far only) time on Friday morning. I was waking up and I thought Bruce was digging himself closer to me. And then I put my hands on my stomach like I do every morning and felt something PUNCH me from the inside, my eyes seriously went WIDE and I got the goofiest smile I bet. And then I kept my hands their a few more moments and felt baby kick me AGAIN! But since then I’ve only felt movement, no kicking. But it was an amazing feeling. Amazing indeed.

I seriously can’t believe this photo, I don’t know maybe my belly actually looks like this since I can’t fit into many of my tshirts & I don’t have a full stand up mirror. I got these super comfy maternity tshirts from Gap…soooooo comfy & I got them for $7 each! I wish they would have had more in my size though, they only had green & blue in my size. Haha my ramblings amuse me so much. This weekend we are going to some cabin or something with JP’s family, should be interesting. I got a new VS bag to tote all my stuff in, I probably end up packing too much entertainment. Okey I have to go grab some food and plan some dinner out, everyone have a super wonderful day.

Okey okey I know I sounded very dissappointed with not finding out the sex of the baby but really it’s not a HUGE deal. I’m enjoying being pregnant, it would be nice to call my belly something other then ‘kid’ but I’m just happy that my baby is healthy. I’d love to know the sex of the baby but if I didn’t find out until the day he/she was born that would be fine.

So I have to run out and run some errands, get quite a bit of work done & clean the house. But I wanted to make a quick post with a request…well a request for requests! What do you want to see a picture of? Something in my house, a piece of my life, etc. I just feel like taking pictures..haha

Well the umbilical cord was buddled up between the baby’s legs so we thought there would be no way to know what the baby is. Doctor J bounced my belly and sent the baby flying around, just going nuts. You could see the kid jumping around on the screen just going totally insane. Once the baby calmed down we took a few more minutes to look at the baby, we saw it’s cute little foot (perfect little ultrasound image below!) and it’s alien-like face (the doctor had a chuckle when I brought up that my kid looks like an alien). And then for a second Doctor J started staring hard at the screen and said “well I MIGHT know what the baby is…do you two want to know?” OF COURSE!!! And he goes “Well I’m about 70% sure it’s a girl…hmmm see that that and that well that’s what has me thinking that you are going to have a ….WOAH wait a minute! Scratch that I thought I just saw something else…that would make it a boy!” And then the baby moved in a way where the umbilical cord was back in the way and Doctor J tells us “I can’t give you any guess now, it could be either a girl or boy. But I promise it’s one of them.” Me and JP just had a laugh & we asked when would we be able to have another ultrasound….in THREE months!!! Nooooooooooooo!!! Another three months of not knowing the sex, I’ll be 7 months when I find out the sex of the baby! Well one good thing about it?
