It’s Monday morning and yet another doctor’s appointment. Going to the doctor every two weeks can get really dull when all they do is check weight, measurements, heart beat & talk to you about what’s going on with the pregnancy. Today I need to remember to ask what I can do in case I get sick, seeing that right now I have an itch in my throat & am starting to get congested. I’m just having a hot cup of herbal tea (caffeine free ) with honey to help soothe my annoying throat. But I want to grab a bag of cough drops and suck on them all day :p Blah I should just pack my luggage and head off to Hawaii for a vacation… or maybe somewhere in Australia (J.P. was talking about it last night). The only place he isn’t interested in going is in Europe, he said nope nope nope not interested.  :whine: Okey well I have to take off to my doctor’s appointment, have a great day!  :hugs: More updates today, including the 1st day of Christmas giveaway!  :q

Now that the weather is cooling down here in Houston, I am able to bake in my kitchen without my kitchen turning into a sweat box. And lately I have been on a baking frenzy, most of the stuff (excluding Thanksgiving) hasn’t been from scratch because I’m missing a couple of ingredients whenever I feel like baking something. But boxed stuff is just fine when you want some quick cookies or brownies. :q Mmmm I have a biiig plate of brownies on the counter just calling my name, but I’m all out of milk!

Anyone need an a/c compressor? Probably not unless you are down south… I ran my a/c last night…it’s almost December and I am still wearing tank tops. *sigh* :confused: Alrighty I have to go run some errands & then hopefully I can return home with milk to down more brownies then I would be proud to admit. Let’s blame it on being 31 weeks pregnant? Yeah, sure that sounds great!  :angel:

I hope everyone has a wonderful & blessed Thanksgiving day today! I hope your day is filled with great food, family & love. This year I am most thankful for having such a wonderful & supportive husband, the baby boy we are bringing into the world soon & all my family for their continued love. I am truly blessed in all aspects of my life that I find truly important & that is what I am most thankful for. :hugs: Everyone have a super day, now I’m off to try making stiff peaks….again. Not an easy task without a hand mixer! :LOL:

So I’m 30 weeks and some days pregnant. All I can say is HOLY COW! Being pregnant is one of the most mind blowing things I’ve ever done so far, I mean c’mon I’m making a baby from scratch! Sure I can bake cakes, cookies, cupcakes & almost anything else you name from scratch but a HUMAN?!? The body is an amazing thing. I have a doctor’s appointment on Monday which I am fearful to see my weight after Thanksgiving…because I plan to pig out (like I do every year). :angel: And for your amusement here is my hugeness in all it’s glory, oh and don’t mind my recycling bins behind me (it’s cool to recycle   plus I have yet to find a better place for them). Okey well I am off to clean up my bedroom, I’m trying to figure out what to do with the tv & tv stands that is in our room since we never watch tv in there. I just thing it’s bad to have TVs in the bedroom, it’s just not good feng shui. :p

For December I’ll be doing 25 days of Christmas Giveaways. Everyday I’ll be giving a lucky commenter something. The giveaways will be small, silly, larger, useful, weird & well anything and everything. And totally random who the winner is! Making my list & checking it twice..no not my Christmas list but my Thanksgiving shopping list. On the list of things I have been assigned to are green beans (i think i’ll try this recipe out for those!), deviled eggs, spinach dip, 2 chocolate pies, 2 apple crisps, a lemon meringue pie & sweet tea. Easy peasy! But you know after standing on my big swollen feet for a few hours I’ll probably just give up and take a bubble bath. I kid! I’ll probably split everything up the day before to make it easier on my swollen & sore body. ::)  Argh as I’m writing this post, I am also writing my grocery list & talking to my mom. My list keeps getting longer & longer, so glad I just have to bring desserts to my mom’s house or I’d be making a whole dinner split between houses. :p Hahah I’m kidding. Ohhh but I’m buying me & JP a turkey for me to cook and break into frozen meals for after Micah is born :love:

Alrighty well I just need to finalize my grocery list, look for coupons for any items I haven’t matched with coupons yet and then hope I don’t break the barcode scanners at the grocery list. So wait are your plans for Thanksgiving? Are you lucky & don’t have to cook anything (like my husband), cooking up a feast or like me splitting the work up between many people?

This morning I actually had my garage sale, got rid of some of the overflowing stockpile closet (waaaaay too much shampoo). I had a few boxes of toys (from my younger brother & sister), random stuff around the house and well not TOO much but just stuff I wanted to get out of the house. I wanted to sell my extra sofa set but I was just too sore to help JP take them down the stairs (maybe craigslist??). I made over $100 for a slow Saturday morning (8am-noonish). I’m just happy to have some clutter out of my house!!

But there was ONE guy who I wanted to punch…yep I wanted to punch him. I had my stuff priced very cheap, $4 products for $1 (i got them for free of course   ) and he grabbed a bunch of cough drops, cat treats, deodrant, blood glucose monitors and just tons of stuff…threw it on the table in front of me and told me “GIVE ME GOOD PRICE!” after he had already asked  what each item (that was clearly marked) cost & made a face at each price. I totalled it up in my head, subtracted a quarter to make it an even $15 & told him it would be $15 even. He huffed and said I was crazy, then threw everything sorta back in place went to his truck, slammed the door as he got in and raced off. I thought at first he stole something, but nope just a crazy guy. By the way $15 was for 10 bags of cat treats, 6 bags of cough drops, a glucose monitor, 3 packs of good razors & maybe something else but still just the razors alone would have cost that much in a store. Sorry I’m not selling everything for a quarter Everything he was going to buy, I sold out of at sticker price with people saying how good of a deal it was. So he can kiss my white hiney!! :pirate:

I was working on someone’s computer the other day & they have a windows based computer…. Oh my I will NEVER go back. After over a year and a half of using Mac only…. LOVE.  :cute: Not a problem with my baby, I will never ever go back. But you know what if you having problems like a error 5080 is coming up, atleast there are websites to help you out! Us Mac users don’t need those though…  :flip: Hahah sorry, I’ll stop now but once you go Mac you never go back :hugs:

Working from home isn’t for someone who can’t motivate themselves, I’ll tell you that. But their are tons of pros from working at home & I feel blessed everyday that I get to work at home. I don’t have to drive to work, sit in traffic, buy work clothes, have a boss looking over my shoulder, set schedules, etc. I get my work done in a timely fashion & don’t have to be pestered to do work over and over. But one thing…my supervisor is a jerk and gets all in front of my screen while I’m working…just look at him below, I caught him on the web cam!!  :p Yup I’m very lucky that I’m not selling Colorado auto insurance because that seems like frustrating work. Kudos to those selling insurance! :LOL:

Another Thursday rolls on by and it means I can add a week more to more pregnancy putting me at a big fat even 30 weeks! Oh me, oh my! My little booger will be here sooner then I can even imagine! And I can’t wait to meet him, I am beyond excited for the arrival but I’m good with being pregnant for another 10ish weeks. It gives me time to prepared because well his room is nowhere near done! ::)

Today I get my car back, I haven’t had it since the end of October so YAY! It needs two new tires so I’ll be going to get those today & finally get to the washateria for much needed clean clothes! My day doesn’t seem like much but I’m sure it’ll stretch and stretch, then I’ll be home sore & tired. Okey well I have to go eat some breakfast before my dad picks me up to go get my car. Everyone have a great day!

Tomorrow I’m hoping to post a recipe on the blog if I get everything edited & I finish my work in a timely manner. Which really, really should happen. I’m excited! I know very geeky of me, but baking & cooking was really hard during the summer since I was in the beginning of my pregnancy and the house got SOOOOOoooo hot! But now it’s a great time to start posting recipes because I won’t be wanting to run screaming from the kitchen heat.

I was checking one of my emails for work that I hardly ever use & I saw something about my domain getting deleted if my information wasn’t updated from enom. I was thinking “Umm I’ve never heard of this company…”, so I delete the email but then there is another one a few days later… well shit they sure do like sending emails. I google “enom scam” and sure enough it’s a phishing scam, I can’t believe there are people out there that have nothing better to scam people out of their personal information. It really is sad. But while looking around at hosts I saw that there was a web hosting company that does comparison prices/plans which is AWESOME! No more hunting around for the best deal on web hosting!! Alrighty time for a lil’ hot cocoa & cuddle time! :bubbley:
