Oh me, oh my. My living room closet is where everything & anything got stuffed. You know when people come over you just grab everything off your coffee table & shove it in there? And then foreget about it…. Yeah the closet was getting hard to close so I had to do something about it. And I finally cleaned it out, threw out a bunch of things, moved around things, and well put a bunch into boxes for my garage sale (got moved to this weekend btw). And after all my hard work (hey it’s hard work if you’re almost 29 weeks pregnant & it hurts to bend down ), sweat & tears…I have a clean closet! But I’m thinking it needs another shelf added…see that big gap? Just a waste of space, it would be great for extra blankets! :geek: Oh if you click on the picture it’ll take you to my flickr & the picture has notes!  ::)

This past weekend my mom bought us the cutest bedding for the nursery. I’m so happy with it & glad I can finally put together my color scheme & we can start on the nursery. JP (possibly my mom & dad too) are going to be painting the nursery on the first weekend of December. I finally got to pick the exact colors I want & I just know everything will turn out great. Here’s a peak at the bedding & organizer mom bought for us….oh and the colors for the walls I can’t wait to get started!! :LOL:

I really hope I’ll get my car back tomorrow (it’s been in the shop) because I haven’t gotten to grocery shop this week & the sales I wanted to catch end tomorrow. Free evaporated milk (for all my cooking & baking this will be very handy!!), cheap glade oil candles, free gatorade, and other things we use all the time for cheap (of course with my coupons). These entirely pets coupons might come in handy, the cats decided they don’t care for their food anymore so I have to go buy a new bag. You guys know how much I love coupons, they save me tons of money & keep my belly full! Okey well I think I’m gonna go watch tonight’s shows that we recorded with J.P. :hugs: Everyone have a wonderful day/night! :flip:

Yes it’s true Oprah loves you & wants to give you a free photo book!I did one of these books last year for my in-laws & they LOVED it. I’m thinking to make my mom one now but I have to round up pictures of my youngest brother & sister, I’m set with pictures of myself & my oldest-younger brother.  :hugs: To redeem your free book you have to click on the link & login by Friday to save your spot. I’ve been very busy with work this week, I usually have a ton of work at one time or hardly anything at all. Well lately it has been a bunch of work but I’ve been doing 2 days of work in 1 day, so that the next day I can rest & do things around the house. I could easily break it up or go everyday straight working 10hr days but that might drive me nuts, so I work my eyeballs off for 1 day & then the next day I get home things done. Right now I’m uploading all the work I finished today & I’m quite proud I finished so much today.

Tomorrow I plan on totally cleaning out my closet & the living room closet along with my bedroom. Have to grab all the rest of the stuff I plan to sell at my garage sale on Saturday. LOL Just wait until you see the before/after of the closets, I’m sooooooooooo bad at keeping closets clean. You know when you have people coming over and you have a bunch of magazines/paper work/etc on the coffee table? I just stuff it into my living room closet. It really is getting bad…really unorganized. Oh and if you are unorganized  & need a file extension library, check out lotus 123 files.

So this Saturday I am having my first ever garage sale as an adult! This is very exciting and a bit nerve wrecking, but my pregnancy bring on the craziness in everything I do it seems like. I just finished pricing two big boxes of hair, body & home products that I cleaned out of my stockpile. Seriously I don’t need 50 bottles of shampoo but when it is free I just can’t stop myself & I’ve given bags of goodies to my family so time to sell some of it! I’m keeping my favorite products that don’t go on sale as much as I would like (dove shampoo, nivea products). I’m getting ready to sort through the gajillions of toys my mom gave me to sell & wouldn’t you believe it… we didn’t even go through all the toys! I was very lost at what to price things at so thankfully HCW came to the rescue with their Yard Sale Tips & Pricing thread! I was thinking to grab a case of water & sodas to sell for those thirsty guys that get dragged along to the sales with wifey.

I’m a bit nervous though because I read these stories where people try to steal & rip you off by saying they didn’t get the correct change. Do you guys have any tips for me having my first garage sale? Please let me know if you can think of anything, I’ll report back on Sunday or Monday with my stats & what I learned! But DO send in those garage sale tips!!

This day 4 years ago, we were married. Made into husband & wife. And I wouldn’t change it for the world. Tonight we’ll go out for sushi & frozen yogurt (like we did last year & maybe even the year before?). We don’t go all out with gifts and that sort of stuff, we know we love each other & spoil each other with love everyday. Everyone have a wonderful day And how silly is it that I can’t wait until the day we get to take our baby boy to Hawaii?

Anyone else already thinking about holiday cards? I was looking at these Christmas Photo Cards because I’ve heard how easy ordering is from vista print but I’m trying to figure out when we should take pictures. I also want to set up a nice area for everyone’s Christmas pictures. I have 3-5 sets of families I want to do holiday pictures for, so I’m going to be scouring the internet for some great ideas. I’m not sure how or if me & JP are going to be doing pictures or just wait until next year for our little man to come. It’s kind of weird to us to just have well…us. What do y’all think? Lame to do Christmas cards with pictures without kiddos?

This weekend I’m planning to have a yard sale to clear out a bunch of unwanted/needed things around the house. I have to clear out the extra bedroom because we want to get started on the baby’s room, JP is already asking about what I want the wall colors to be and we’re buying the baby bedding this week (just have to call PBKids). If all goes as planned this month we’ll have the money we need to put away for baby needs. Oh and I’ve already started stockpiling diapers, I’ll be buying diapers when ever they go really cheap.

My belly is getting quite out there, so far I’ve gained 12 lbs through this pregnancy and feel pretty wonderful…even if only a handful of my clothes fit me :p

So I was googling how much Little People sets can sell for (just a few years old, they were my sister’s not mine) & then I stumble upon the sets I had as a child…oh you should not be searching for memory filled toys when you are feeling this emotional. I was just sitting here smiling, gasping & just trying to put together which sets I had. Did anyone else play with these as a child? I was thinking it would be so great to get the vintage sets along with the newer versions of what I had for my little man. The first set I plan to buy will be the vintage house set I had as a child, just seeing pictures of this set brought back sooo many memories! I also had the family farm, airplane & playground sets.

Thank you to everyone for the kind words & all of the wonderful thoughts with my scare the other night. Me & baby are doing well, we have a follow up appointment on Monday and I will update with what the doctor says. But for now I am not on bed rest (thank goodness!) but I am taking it easy, I sometimes forget that I need to limit what I do/carry/etc now that I am almost 7 months pregnant! Well I have to finish cleaning & decorating for tonight’s Halloween/JP’s Birthday Party, of course with breaks in between because the baby feels like he is squeezing my lungs. Hmmm I wonder if JP would like these Nikon Monarch and Trailblazer Binoculars for when he goes to football/baseball games with sucky tickets, like the last Texans game he went to….I know they are for hunting but they might be even better for sports! LOL Everyone have a swell day!

Yesterday started off normal, I went grocery shopping in the morning got home and seperated/marinated my chicken, cut up fruit for JP’s lunches, planning dinner and then my stomach started to feel a bit sore so I decided to just work for a bit and try to relax. After awhile of being in pain I thought maybe a nap would help…I woke up a hour later still in pain. JP got home and I told him I was feeling nauseous and my stomach really hurt, he asked if I still wanted to go carve pumpkins with my little brother and sister or just take it easy at home. Right before leaving for my mom’s I threw up whatever little food I had in my stomach.

We went to my mom’s because I had promised them I would carve pumpkins. I tried to keep it together while pulling out pumpkin guts, watching Charlie Brown’s Halloween & plotting what silly face my pumpkin should have. After drawing out my ever too simple pumpkin face I felt like it was throw up time again and yes it was indeed, not fun at all. After that I just sat carving pumpkins taking breaks to breath & trying not to think of the pain I was in. After we all carved our pumpkins we went outside to set them up and see how they’d look with lights in them, awesome! Well that’s when my stomach started to tighten up (contraction?!) and i bent over, grabbed my stomach and then before I knew it we were talking about taking me to the hospital.

I called my doctor told him what was happening, that my stomach was tightening about 4-5 times a hour & he told me to get to the hospital ASAP because it sounded like early labor. After blood tests and being poked too many times in too many different spots they had me hooked up to an IV to relive the pain & gave me medication for a bacteria they found in my urine. We were there for over 7 hours & I don’t know how many times I talked to the baby telling him he wasn’t allowed out yet, he had to stay in his room for quite a few more weeks. Luckily my contractions faded after hours of them and they told me I was good to go after all my medication was dispensed via IV. Last night was really scary and made me realize I have almost NOTHING ready for my little man. Okey I know I didn’t really go into too much details and this is a bit random but I’m still mentally & physically wiped out from last night.
