It’s funny, every year around this time I look back at how life was just a year ago. And it’s funny how both so much and so little can change in a year. And for me personally life just seems to get better and better each year. That’s what I strive for. I want to look back this time next year and go “Well that is nice, but now is even better”. You always wonder how your life could get better or worse, it does so in the most simply ways. Getting a new job, starting a new relationship, quitting a hobby, taking up a hobby it all can be for the worse or better. But I think a lot of it is your outlook on life, I try to take everything with a smile and think of ways it is for the best…no matter how horrible it may seem at the moment. Relationships end so you can find someone better to fill that void in your life. Doors are opened when you decide one day to quit that ratty job that you hated before you even started. Everything happens for a reason, no matter if you think that or not. If you choose to wallow on the bad, then how can anything good ever come to you? You wouldn’t even notice if something good slapped you in the face.

This year I am making more money then ever & my relationship with J.P. is even stronger then it was last year. I have many more things going on but those are the things people stress about…or maybe it’s just me? But I’ve been working on my stress, I rather die from eatting too many cupcakes then stressing about bills when there is more then enough money. I’m so happy that with my new job I’ll be able to completely pay off my Visa…and quick!

I have people asking where do I get my coupons, how I save so much money, etc. Well I decided I’d put a post together of all my resources to help those who want to do the same as me & save!

Where do you get your coupons?
Mainly I get them from the Sunday paper that usually has 2-3 coupon inserts a week. I also email companies I buy often to gush over their products, many have sent coupons..even FREEBIES!

How do you know when to use your coupons?
You look for sales & match it with coupons to get maximum savings. I use a variety of coupon/savings websites that guide me in my coupon savings since I don’t have time to look through every flyer, check out prices at every store, etc.

What sites do you use to find deals?

So I don’t know if you know this but I’m in love with coupons. Totally, completely in love. Okey let me prove why…first I have to dig through my purse for some receipts. We’ll go through my receipts for this week Oh wow..okey i had a TON of receipts in my bag. Okey you know what? I think black and white proof will prove how much I love coupons. I am spending the same amount of money each week (usually around $100 for groceries) but now that includes a lot more food, cleaning products and bathroom items. I have SOO much soap I got for free and a bunch of toothpaste that was free. Actually I have a lot of freebies! How fun! I mean who doesn’t like free? Oh and green is how much I saved, yellow is how much I paid.

Ugh the other day I was doing laundry at the laundry mat…SUCKS. Over 95*F outside and I don’t think they had any A/C on…I was just about to pass out! I wish our place had the hook-ups for a washing machine. That’s almost the only thing I miss about our old place, that and central A/C but it looks like with the window units are bills have been lower actually. So that’s a good thing, I don’t think it’s went over $100 yet!

I broke my last needle and still need to finish a few projects… I’m thinking to run to the store to get some tonight I wanna show off my craftyness already!! I’m putting together some fun posts, so look for them soon!!

8 days into my 365 project and well….I got too busy and my camera was dead Do I start over or go to number 9? I’m thinking to start over. Makes sense.

So with being an adult means making decisions…like buying a house. This is a frustrating topic but I’ve actually been talking to someone about it lately because I would love to have our own house by December/January. And well I want to build up more money so I can get another house after that, that’s even better. And I was looking at these cool places that take cash for houses. So once you get ready to sell, it makes it easy! Okey well I’mma go look at houses online for awhile before getting back to work. Loving the 20′s & 30s houses!! I really just loooove old houses, the house I’m living in right now was built in 1925 and is outstanding with original hardwood floors! :p Later!

Today I have a party to go to, my sister-in-law is turning the big 3-0! Oh me, oh my! But that means we have to go to the mall to get her a gift and also I think I want some new frocks for tonight. They are going to have a karaoke at a bar that’ll be closed off to the public. Should be a good time tonight, I haven’t really been out in a long time so I feel…nervous? Hopefully I’ll get some pictures tonight to post!!

So I’ve been unexpected packages in the mail, it looks like someone remembered my birthday is coming up in June. I took down my wishlist but decided to add it back up since it looks like people seem to enjoy my blog & send me goodies for my birthday. It’s nice getting surprises in the mail Thank you sooo much for the surprises guys! I love them so much!! I got bored this morning and added a bunch of DVDs & home things :p I’m such a nerd huh?

So project “Get Pammy a Desk” was a total success. After searching craigslist week after week for something decent at a decent price..I finally got lucky. So I email the woman selling the desk and agree to meet her the next day so I could take a peek at the desk and possibly buy it (I already knew I wanted it just trying to play it cool). Then the next morning she e-mails me saying another woman is also coming to see the desk around the same time…”oh no…she’s going to buy it before I even get to look at it!” flashes through my head. So I tell her I’ll be there a little earlier (trying to beat the other girl to the punch) & then she tells me the other girl didn’t want to “race” for the desk and is passing. But still a lot of things on craigslist get sold pretty darn quick, happened to many times already to me. So I race over there with J.P. around 6PM with the money in my pocket….it won’t fit in our car though. DOH! So I give her the money to hold the desk for me until Friday (when I can get a friend with a truck) , but wait I gave some lady money to hold a desk? What if she sells it to someone else and just keeps my money? What if she doesn’t return my calls and decides she doesn’t want to sell the desk? She looked like a sweet girl, but looks can be deceiving right? Well Friday rolls around and we are late picking up the desk because our friends Chris is just getting off work… Oh no it’s a Friday night…I bet she’ll just leave and forget about the crazy desk girl! Nope. She calls me on our way over and I tell her “we are turning on your street right now!” We get there, and after bringing the desk down a flight of stairs (my goofy self is wearing flip-flops and had just put lotion on my feet..) which well went good considering I was helping out. :p Sooo now the before/after pictures, next is project computer chair…for right now I stole one out of the dining room. I have *counts on fingers* thhrreee(?) projects on the brain right now

So it looks like my birthday is coming up in less then a month and I have nothing..nothing at all to do. Last year I was planning my Hawaiian getaway with the husband which was done so nicely with a friend’s frequent flyer & hotel points. Welll this year? Looks like back to boring, don’t ever do anything wonderful for your birthday because the next year you’ll just feel like..”uhhh…yeahh…sucky….” :/ Anyone sending me a birthday card? Or e-card? So I’m surfing around (as usual) for new sites to get addicted to…because I’m easily addicted to websites (need to update my blogroll I guess). Well I checked out this web designing blog that helps with making sites successful with a varies amount of topics. I’ve been trying to figure out all the AdWords, SEO and all that jibberish that everyone talks about. It was so much easier when I was 14 and I didn’t care, now I’m addicted to sites that blog about blogging. How insane is that? Blogging about blogging…that could make a neat but very long domain name!
