So when Mother’s day (or my mom’s birthday) rolls around…I’m clueless. Usually I’ll log into Overstock or Amazon because they have these “guides”.. almost always totally worthless to me. My mother is stocked in perfume, doesn’t wear jewelry, etc. And clothes as an option…uh Overstock are you silly? I’m not buying my mom clothes, we have totally different taste (and both picky). So clueless on what to get my mother for May 11th, last year I did a shoot with my little brother & sister. I printed & framed adorable pictures of them that she still has in her living room. Oh and the same goes for my mother-in-law, she’s just not a person who says “Ooo I’d like this or that”.. Grrrr :/

Well you know what? I messaged my mom & asked “What do you want for Mother’s Day??”. She told me we could go get massages or she could never have enough Yankee Candles. So that’s done with…onto the mother-in-law. She won’t be as easy, she’ll say “Nothing.” over and over. :p I did find some AWESOME things on fredflare though that I think I’ll be getting for my mom just for the fun of it!! I also bought my mom’s card & candy this past weekend, fun stuff

So you here all those rags to riches stories that are jaw dropping right? Well of course we all do. A lot of these stories that get published are of Nouveau Riche meaning “new rich”, people who have just got money and aren’t lucky to have a easier life. Well I was reading on Wikipedia about all the stories we’ve all heard of. You know Cinderella, Elvis, Oprah, Abraham Lincoln…etc. Well I was thinking how many people don’t even get famous but still do pretty good, because generation after generation just wants to be more…a general more in life. I’m like that actually I have a goal of having a mortage by the age of 25, I don’t want to be renting after that I want to be the guy (er…gal) that collects the rent and charges 3x the mortage for a lovely house people are making memories in. Yes I want to own many properties, I’m thinking 5 properties would suffice. I have so many goals but they are bouncing around, I’m needing a chart or to just write them all out & think them all out to make them clearer to myself. I mean I’m nowhere near rags, when I was a child I was much closer but now my parents along with myself are doing much better.

Oh. My. Gosh. The Mega Million lottery here in Texas…yeah it’s at $120…MILLION! !* OMFG. Could you even imagine winning that? I would pee myself, pee all over the floor, pants soaked and stinky. Yes. Would happen. Now that would turn rags to riches… because I would be traveling for the next few years non-stop. But not insanely expensive crap because well I wouldn’t want a sick, I would want something cozy and sweet. It would totally make me a Nouveau Riche story. Maybe I should actually play the lottery huh? Okey…well I have to go pick-up my Chili’s burgers I ordered a few minutes ago…mmm….junk food.

Okey so wait I have a question. First 3 things you’d do or buy with a lottery winning of $120million?

If you loved part 1 of all things cupcake which included cupcake clothing and accessories then you’ll love home edition of all thing cupcake! Cupcakes are actually becoming very popular, even though I’ve been in love with them before they became so culturally popular in the past years. But I love that they have become so popular because it’s easier to find such cute cupcake decor for the house now!

So the first image below you might be thinking..what the heck is that? A giant cupcake? Yes…yes it is but it’s also a CHAIR! A cupcake chair, who would have thought!? And Jellio has so many more creative (and pricey) items it’s unbelievable, such creativity on that site! I haven’t found too many cupcake bedding that did make me want to hurl but this one my dear is beautiful! It would be perfect for a little girl’s room or even a guest room!I usually just put cupcakes on a plate when guests come over but how cool is this cupcake serving tray? I’m going to see if my can actually whip up a serving tray for mini cupcakes!

These are fun things to add just a hint of cupcake to a cupcake deprived life. First off who could pass up a cupcake jewelry box adorned with a smiling cherry on top? That just tops it off with this little guy just smiling at you! And the next item up..no not just ordinary cupcakes..but SOAP! I know these things do not look like soap at all, they look too delicious to lather your body up with! These cupcake soaps would make an adorable gift wrapped up in a dessert box! And of course I couldn’t resist cupcake candles, there are actually quite a few different cupcake candles wandering around the internet. But I found these to be the cutest!

And last but not least important at all..cupcakes in the kitchen because after all that is where these sweet treats are made most of the time! To keep the batter off your clothes you’ll need an adorable cupcake apron to show just how dedicated you are to the cupcake revolution! Because nothing is worse then batter staining your new shirt! And why not have a tiny cupcake sugar bowl that comes with a tiny pink spoon, this is actually a picture of my adorable cupcake sugar bowl which I get comments on allll the time! Everyone just adores it! And what to serve your delicious treats on, what else but cupcake adorned plates! And at Target these things are a real steal for only $20!! They also have these cupcake shaped plates!

So I’ve been asked how many pets I have, what kind, etc. So I thought it would be fun to do a entry on my sweet & adorable pets. First off they are all male & we’ll go from oldest to youngest.

The oldest of my three boys is Milo, he’s the smart moody one who can open cabinets and doors (if they are just a tiiiiny bit cracked). He is a bully sometimes though, he’ll get in moods where he wants to fight and hiss at everyone. He also trusts nobody but me & my husband. He’ll hide when company is over.

Next is our middle child, Max. Originally his name was Lola because we thought he was a she. He has such a nice coat and sweet face..who would have thought he was just a pretty boy kitty? He seems like hmm how do I say this nicely? Well he seems like he is always high on the catnip, sleeping, rolling around, runs into walls, falls off furniture. Not the most graceful cat that I’ve seen by far.

And finally our baby Bruce, the one everyone loves. He’s a small dog with a big bark, he actually scared the mailman pretty bad today where the mailman ran down the stairs and made me come downstairs for my package. Poor Bruce has little man syndrome. But he is also making up for the fact that he has a bum hip (which will be getting fixed soon with a large sum of money) and tends to throw up a lot (car sick & drinks too much water when coming in from walks). But he’s one of the sweetest dogs that will make you feel like you have a best friend for life.

So lately I’ve been wanting to finally commit to beautiful decor, I always find it pointless since I lease at the moment but decor is something you can take with you…so here we go. I’m starting in the living room, the room that gets used the most out of us. So I went on a few sites that have my type of taste including Urban Outfitters, Ikea, Pottery Barn and a few others for ideas and I kept being drawn to orange items. So there we go, our choice of color is chosen. I’m so happy that I actually got inspired and well I have some items chosen that I’ll be picking up & ordering soon! Check out my inspiration image I created to keep me on track! Oh and I have another project underway…I bought a vintage desk tonight and I can’t wait to get started on it!

BTW Check out this podcast it talks bi-weekly about therapy, bipolar, borderline, depression, and more. They’re doing a really good thing about talking open & honestly about it. I’m adding it to my podcast list right now. It seems really refreshing and interesting…

So you might not realize this but I adore cupcakes & everything cupcake related! Cupcakes are just some of the most wonderful things ever invented. And cupcakes seem to be invading the retail market as of lately, I collected some of my favorite cupcake goodies to share with everyone! So here are some my favorite wearable goods.

Johnny Cupcakes is the king of the cupcake t-shirts, with he fun logo (cupcake & crossbones) & great use of colors he’s a hit! Whether JohnnyCupcakes is using basic colors or wacky combo colors that just make sense, his shirts are made for the cupcake lovers!

Cupcakes can be worn on the shoulder too with the Hello Kitty Cupcake tote! I saw someone at the grocery store loading up her bag that she used as a grocery tote, I just had to come home and google it! Don’t forget yummy cupcake lip glosses to pop into your bags! And check out this GREAT cupcake wristlet with one of the cutest & friendliest cupcakes I’ve ever seen!

And don’t forget jewerly! A girl’s best friend right? Cupcake jewelry is something I couldn’t ignore while searching for wonderful cupcake goodies. The cupcake bracelet is something I would love if I could wear bracelets (they always end up hurting my hand). But the cupcake pan necklace & cupcake ring are PERFECT. They are what girls like me who love cupcakes thing of when shopping!

My newest inspiration would have to be McLetdown on deviantART. For being 16, this young man has truly inspirational portfolio. I couldn’t decide on which ones I wanted to post to show off this guys great talent! Oh and if you’d like to support him, visit his print shop on deviantART. This is my favorite of his & what actually drew me into looking at his portfolio, I just wish it was able to be a poster size print. :*( It would look so lovely in my living room or soon to be office.
