Oh the other day I was playing on Flickr with their partner Picnik & seriously couldn’t stop laughing at what I did to JP’s pictures.

I miss having a security system at our last place we had an ADT system and my favorite features is that it would chirp whenever a door opened (front or porch!). With a baby on the way I’ve been thinking about home security and just wish that this place was hooked up with it like our last one was. It is good that we are on the second floor though, because I don’t worry about someone sneaking in the windows. Once we buy a house, I will defiantly have a system installed. It just helps me feel safe being home alone all day long & especially the rare nights I am alone. I am just a paranoid person…but you know what I blame JP for that.

I was going to make a post right now with the contest winner along with talking about other things buuuut the yard guys just finished so now I can go back to bed for a hour or so with my little Bruce man. I wanted to note that there is a “cast” section above now & you guys should let me know if there is anyone I talk about enough to add to it. I’ll slowly add more but is there anyone off the top of your head that I talk about and a first time visitor might say “Who’s that?”.

Mmmm I’m going to jump into my cozy bed, my favorite way of relaxing is just to lay with my pets all cuddled up in my bed. Oh JP broke one of our hampers (it was old anyways) & I really like the look of dark wicker ones but I’m just afraid of the cats scratching it. Anyone have a wicker hamper and their cats not bother it one bit? I’d really love the Oasis collection from Conservatory Furniture too but once again I don’t know about the cats. Off to bed, well that’s if I’m not too awake already. 

Tonight I was telling JP how wonderfully I slept the past two nights & I hope that it keeps up. Well wouldn’t you know it… I can’t sleep tonight. I’m up playing games on iminlikewithyou with Max cuddled up to me but wishing so badly that I could fall asleep in my nice big cuddly bed next to my equally cuddly hubby.

JP put the first monkey up in the nursery on Sunday we still have quite a few left to put up but we just couldn’t decide where so we’ll try again this weekend. We bought tons of goodies this weekend including a really pretty boppy (there were soooo many that looked like they were from the 90s, it sickened me!) & JP bought a bunch of Might Muggs (the chubby action figures). Anyways just wanted to show the goodies we got over the weekend… I’m going to try to go to bed soon. Contest winner will be announced & emailed tomorrow!

Before & after my doctor’s appointment today I decided to go ahead and drop by Walgreens on the way because my Walgreen’s didn’t have some deals programmed into their computer so it was a huge headache. Well this Walgreens was VERY well stocked, had such friendly cashiers & even had a few 75% items that I couldn’t pass up! I am just so excited to find out how wonderful this store is & I might just have to make this my store. Anyways look at my haul from today! Even though I accidentally picked up some hair products that weren’t on sale as low as I thought they were bringing my total up $5 higher then I had planned, I think I did really good! I’m taking my mom some goodies because there is no way I could use all the styling products!! Ohhh and duh my totals!! I spent $15.13 and saved $90.67 (according to my receipt; that includes it at sale price).   :LOL:

Today we had to go return an outfit to Baby Gap & while we were at the mall I had to stop at Urban Outfitters to see if they had the cupcake ornament I wanted on sale. Well all their Christmas stuff was 75% off but no pretty cupcake, instead I got two really pretty (and glittery) ornaments for $3.00 each. I was soooo tempted to get a 4ft white Christmas tree at Urban Outfitters for next year (only $15!!!!) but I resisted because then we’d probably end up with a tree in every room next year. They had a very decent amount of items left so we are thinking to go to another Urban Outfitters tomorrow to look for my darn cupcake! Wish me luck!! :smiles: Oh and the Texans ornament is JP’s ornament of course  :rolly: Only $1.74 at Target! But Target had hardly ANYTHING!  :whine:

I hope everyone’s New Year’s Eve was full of fun! Last night we went to JP’s parent’s house because they were cooking a big ole dinner for the family. Dinner included big ole steaks (omg they were sooo tender!), huge shrimps & baked potatoes! Sooo good but sadly I wasn’t feeling so well so I didn’t gorge myself like I wish I could have. Oooo but there were veggy tray, olives & cheese…I ate more then my share of those though. Maybe that’s why I couldn’t down as much meat & potatoes then I wanted to. :q Okey now I can’t stop thinking about all the food & how there are probably plenty of leftovers…we were suppose to take a big plate but we left in a sort of rush because both JP & myself were getting really tired. I think we’ll have to go by a little later and get some food because umm that means leftovers for dinner…no cooking for this huge prego!  :cute:

So I have yet to write my “resolutions” down on paper, I want to make them more of goals…goals that set off even bigger goals for the future. Do you have any goals or resolutions for the year? What are they?
