Set until 2019!
SKIP THE LATTE – $7 ON THE 7th!
Warning to males, I talk about the awesome parts of my body that you don’t have. So if that bothers you…walk away now. So yes my friends I am set with birth control until 2019! Holy cheese that is awesome. I got an IUC put in by my doctor this morning, which wasn’t bad at all. I read online that some women were crying about the cramps and pain when measuring your uterues, but I just stayed calm through it and poked fun at my doctor. He would tell me “You’re going to feel some preassure & cramping now”, then I would say “Wow. Yep, felt that. That sucks.” and he would keep going, “I know, I know. Sorry. I know”. Then finally I let out a big laugh (while these cramps are going on and he’s still digging around my utereus) & he asks why I laughed because umm look at the position I’m in right? Well I tell him “It’s funny you keep saying you know but you have NO idea, I mean you can’t REALLY know.” He laughed and told me “You women have it rough. First months of pregnancy, labor & delivery, having to get this birth control put in…I’m glad I’m not a woman”. And then I added in that we also get periods that suck very much too & if your a breastfeeding mama….all the feeding is on your shoulders. The joy! I hope one day my son will understand all I have done and given up for him…even at him just being 6 weeks old. I mean c’mon I would be one very happy mama if I could have a glass (who are we kidding…a bottle) of wine or beer with dinner tonight or if I could be gulping down my 6th cup of coffee right now. Those are two things that are killing me not to have but I can wait out the breastfeeding & after that I’ll drink myself to a very caffeinated state of mind.
Okey this post went all over the place, but if you’re a regular here…well you are probably use to it by now.
Oh and I absolutely ADORE being a mother so don’t get the wrong thoughts here. And have y’all seen knock out rose?
New header for March…
I’m thinking to rotate header each month, since I like the simple design of this wordpress theme but do need a bit of change here & there. And well I just whipped this one together this morning…it speaks the truth of my daily life. I can’t how many times I’ve been pooped on in the short 6 weeks that I’ve been changing Micah’s diapers. And nursing…don’t get me started on this leech who loves the boob juice. But luckily Micah has been only waking once during the night to feed for the past (almost) 2 weeks, which is better then coffee. Oh I miss coffee so much, why’d I even mention it? Now I’ll be craving it for days, in less then a year I’ll be back to my multiple cups of coffee before most people have poured their second….hot tea just isn’t the same.

Update on the moving…I found a 3 bedroom house for lease then what we pay here but of course it isn’t so close to the city but I don’t really care about that anymore. Maybe I can turn the 3rd bedroom into a movie room with home theater furniture and all that fun stuff. Or I can just throw my extra sofa set in there with the big TV. I’d love for my living room to be TV-less…weird I know.
Not going good…

Pouts are wonderful
Help me out? Would you be willing to print out 4 coupons for me & send them snail mail to me? It’s a limit of 2 coupon print outs per computer and I’d like to get a lot to stock up on diapers. It’ll take just a few minutes to just print them out, write my PO Box on an envelope & then slap a stamp on the front. Leave me a comment saying you’d help a mommy out & I’ll email you with details. Thanks guys!!
My Baby Story – Part 2
Read Part 1 of My baby Story Here
My mom showed up shortly with some comfy socks with cupcakes on them for me!
We were just enjoying each other and talking through the contractions. Soon after my mom arrived they put me on pitocin to speed up my labor since I had been going through contractions the full weekend before. Every time my nurse played with the little machine for it to give me more pitocin through my IV, the contractions got stronger & quicker. My dad and grandma showed up soon & my dad just didn’t like seeing me in pain. It broke his heart to see me in pain & broke mine to know I was breaking his. My doctor came in saying he would break my water for me since it still hadn’t broke on its own, he went to make sure it hadn’t broke. Well wouldn’t you know it, it broke all over his hand!
So glad he didn’t have to stick that crochet looking thing up me to break it! :sweatdrop:
And the contractions started going nuts very quickly, they hurt but I was breathing through them. Huffing, puffing and rotating squeezing my mom’s, JP’s & my dad’s hands. Every few minutes they got worse, longer & stronger. Breath. Just breath. I got a big cup of ice to crunch on but it started melting so quickly in my mouth I was choking on the water so I had to throw that to the side & just get a wet towel for my head. My mom & dad were at my side as the F*bomb escaped from me very loudly. My parents just looked at each other and couldn’t believe their ears & asked each other if I had actually said that. My dad & JP were next to my side holding my hands as I whined & yelped out a few times. My dad told me “Just relax baby girl, just relax” & I snapped at him “How about you relax?!”. Which quickly got laughs from both him & JP. And then I couldn’t take it, it hurt too much. I called my nurse around 3PM and told her I needed an epidural ASAP. My contractions were coming so quick that there was almost no time in between them. Everyone was shooed out of the birthing room, I sat up on the bed. My nurse had me hugging her so I could arch my back for the epidural. I was having contractions so quickly it was hard to find time before two contractions to give me much needed painkillers. Finally I had two contractions that had enough time in between so he could give me a big needle in the back.
Everyone came back in the room & soon enough I couldn’t feel the horrible contractions anymore. My nurse came in soon to check how I was doing and check on the baby. She went ahead to see how far down Micah was and said “Wow this baby has a full head of hair”. Everyone just laughed because both JP & I were bald babies! And then the thing I had been waiting for “Can you push for me? Let’s get a few good pushes out of you.”. JP grabbed leg & my mom the other leg both staring at me with fear in their eyes. 1, 2, 3 *take a deep breath* PUUUUUUUUSHHH…..KEEP PUSHING!! *exhale* and repeated 3 or so more times to push little man right to the edge!
JP looked down, he swore he would just look at me. I knew he wouldn’t be able to do it, curiosity got the best of him.
The doctor was called in and it was baby time! My mom & JP were holding my legs back the doctor had a nice view of something that only my husband would get a view of on any other day. And I had a nurse on each side of him. I looked around thinking “It’s happening, it’s really happening”.
Moving?
I have a bit of a dilemma. Our duplex is pretty awesome but it has flaws, indeed it has its flaws. So we have been talking about moving somewhere smaller & less expensive. But moving is always so stressful, but anyone can tell you that. And combined with having an infant it could possibly be a very tricky thing to do at the moment. I made these pro/con lists of each place & well by the looks of the list it would be a good thing for us to move. By the way the central a/c (not so much heat) & dishwasher things are a bigger pain in the butt then you would imagine.
Our Current Duplex Pros & Cons:
+Huge floor plan (1600 sq ft)
+In a favorable part of town with everything around us
- The people who live in the garage apartment tend to be loud
- No dishwasher (yes this is horrible for me LOL)
- No washer/dryer or wash room
- A/C & Heat is those boxed units
+ Hardwood floors
- Thin windows that let in heat & cold air in the house
+ For some reason I really love this place
Possible New Apartment Pros & Cons:
+/- Smaller floorplan (less cleaning but less room)
+ Close to both my mom & JP’s mom
+ Dishwasher!!!!
+ Rent cost less
+ Central A/C & Heat
- Moving is a pain in the butt
+ A common wash area
+ JP’s brother lives in the apartment complex we would be moving into so he could walk over to watch sports on the weekend
- Carpet is a pain with 3 animals (but I could steam vacuum once a month)
+ We won’t have to put up random thick blankets & fabrics on the windows to keep in good air & out bad air (you can see some of the fleece skulls on the windows in this picture)

I’m kind of random like that…
Today I went grocery shopping and luckily spent way less then I expected but I didn’t buy a Slingbox. Micah has started cooing. This morning he was laying inside his bassinet just watching & talking to his bear mobile. And then this evening he found his ears & just kept tugging and touching them. It’s so wonderful watching this tiny person learn & develop! Being a mother is of course new to me but it quickly becoming one of my favorite titles as a person. Mommy and wife. Simply the best titles I could ever ask for. Good night guys

Sing me to sleep…
Sometimes Micah has a bit of a hard time falling asleep at night so he’ll whine & pout. Well sometime last week I tried singing to him. First I started with the itsy bitsy spider then forgot half the words, went on to various songs and quickly realized that I knew almost none of the songs in full. Until I stumbled on Old McDonald which I actually knew! Even if I did add a few unusual animals to the farm like penguins, bears & lions. Micah seemed to enjoy it and quickly fell asleep to my not so smooth vocals, it’s amazing how he loves hearing his mom when most people would pay me to stop singing. :rolly: On the car ride home from grocery shopping this week he started to cry, I knew he was getting restless in his carseat but he was usually his time to sleep so from the top of my lungs I sung Old McMicah (yes I switched it to McMicah for him
) with our unusual arrangment of animals & it soothed his cute little self to sleep. And I’m sure if anyone could hear me they would surely laugh, good thing I don’t have a camera watching me because I would get plenty of giggles for my unusual behavior.
