Awesome Haul!
Posted by admin on January 5th, 2009 . Filed under: Daily .Before & after my doctor’s appointment today I decided to go ahead and drop by Walgreens on the way because my Walgreen’s didn’t have some deals programmed into their computer so it was a huge headache. Well this Walgreens was VERY well stocked, had such friendly cashiers & even had a few 75% items that I couldn’t pass up! I am just so excited to find out how wonderful this store is & I might just have to make this my store. Anyways look at my haul from today! Even though I accidentally picked up some hair products that weren’t on sale as low as I thought they were bringing my total up $5 higher then I had planned, I think I did really good! I’m taking my mom some goodies because there is no way I could use all the styling products!! Ohhh and duh my totals!! I spent $15.13 and saved $90.67 (according to my receipt; that includes it at sale price).

Holy cow. How did you go about getting the deals like that? Is it through coupon clipping or just general sales?

Do stores around you offer double coupons?

I got everything at Walgreens. They are having a sale on Garnier products for $2.99 then you add the $2 easy saver coupon (walgreens coupon booklet) plus a $1 off manufacture coupon and you have freebies!
Most good deals are a combo of sales with coupons. Some stores around me double coupons but not Walgreens, just my usual grocery store.

WOW impressive. I use to buy the garnier products. I can’t believe all of those plus the stuff on the left were only 15 bucks!

I have dabled in the world of couponing as well, but never do as well as you!! How did you get your hands on the Walgreens coupon book? (I don’t think I have even ever shopped there!) ps I’m so excited that you’re getting so close to Micah time.

I love Garnier products. If you’re a fan and there is a Wal-Mart store nearby, check there for AMAZING deals on shampoo, etc. The average-sized bottles of shampoo retail for around $3.50, but they sell larger bottles for $4.00!
My boyfriend and I generally share shampoo, because he isn’t picky, so not only is it cheaper to buy the larger bottle, but we don’t have to buy shampoo near as often.

I’ve never used Garnier before, I used a melting conditioner last night and my hair feels sooooo nice today! But I don’t think I could ever pay for shampoo/conditioner again, I got all these for free (except 2 of them i grabbed on accident).

Oh the Walgreens booklets are the little books when you walk into the store not the weekly flyers but they have MONTHLY books, they are called Easy Savers i think
