Dad: Atleast I haven’t had cancer.
Me: Um… yes you have.
Dad: No I haven’t.
Me: Yes….you had colon cancer…
Dad: Huh?
Me: In 2003…you & mom had cancer the same year.
Dad: Ohhh yeah… well hell I have had cancer…
Me: …..yeah…..
Dad: well shit.

I suffer from the same ‘brain fog’ as your dad. I’m guessing it IS age related ;-p
Great that he (and your mum) beat the dreaded cancer cells.
