Fangtastic!

Why has my baby boy been waking up with blood curdling screams in the middle of the night? Why has he been waking up at 5am instead of the usual 7am? Why is he being a grouch instead of his usual easy going self? More new teeth. So he has his bottom middle two teeth, now he is growing fangs. He doesn’t have his top middle teeth so he’s decided that he’ll grow fangs for Halloween. He told me since vampires are so hot right now that he’d grow his own costume, fangs. He won’t be a sparkly vampire though, glitter is a pain to take off. :p But maybe a classic Dracula with a fancy tuxedo vest and tie? Wouldn’t that be adorable?

Night Terrors maybe. Both mine had them when they were very young.

Alas, sleep pattern changes are very common, just when you thought you had hours of unbroken sleep, and a lie-in past 5am. Bang!!!! You find yourself up 2 or 3 times per night and the kiddo is still wide awake at dawn.

Good luck with the sleeping, he is such a yummy young man.

Vicky – I thought about the night terrors but it doesn’t seem to match up since I can hold him or put orajel on his gums to get him right to sleep

Jenn – He’ll be 8 months on Saturday :) He’s getting too big, too quick.

I think he just wants extra hugs from his mum, even if he demands them in the middle of the night. How could anyone not want to hug him, he is adorable. I’m glad it sounds like it is teething making him a cranky boy and not night terrors. love n light x
