So many people would benefit from learning to be alone. I’m not talking let’s all out and get divorces or break off relationships. I’m talking about about being comfortable in your skin. I can easily sit in a restaurant by myself and eat a meal. Going to a movie alone? That would be heaven. I think it’s all about being comfortable with your skin & thoughts. It isn’t the end of the world to spend time alone. I rejoice in it, but I guess that being a stay/work-at-home mom gives me more of a push to want to have alone time even more now then I did before. But even before having a child, I could sit in the middle of a mall alone, go to movies alone, enjoy lunch sitting by myself in a packed restaurant….but I know this isn’t something everyone can do. In fact, the husband can not do this. He rather sit in his car eating his lunch then sit at a park, fast food place or anywhere he is publicly alone. He’s never been to the movies alone. He thinks I’m weird & I think he’s weird.

Every time we watch The Little Mermaid this part gets big laughs from Micah. He loves older Disney movies, I think it’s all the music in them. Does it sadden anyone else that animated movies these days don’t have all the wonderful & catchy songs that they did before they were all done by computers?

Well I know you might have been wondering what the heck is wrong my page? I haven’t updated in forever. It’s weird. It’s strange. Oh wait, we’re talking about me? Yeah it’s all on track. Sometimes life just grabs you in a choke hold & you can’t get out of it.

Changes are happening. And hopefully everything goes accordingly so I can just feel relieved and not have these things on my mind all the time. Just wanted to pop in. Still messing with the new layout on here, so let me know if anything is a bit wonky.

Saturday our plans got all flipped around…but that’s normal for us. We were suppose to go the Saint Arnolds brewery for a tour & then later that night go to watch a movie in the park. But after a hectic morning, we ended up not making it in time for the tour. So instead we headed to lunch with Micah & some friends where we decided to head on over to The Orange Show. None of us had been & it is a super cheap way to kill some time. Micah had a ball running around, hiding, climbing and just being his wild self!

The Orange show was completely beautiful & fun! There was so much work put into it, like the doors that were completely tiled. Or the tiled sayings & quotes. The man who built this was in love with tile it seems! There are two stages for shows to happen on with tons of colorful seating everywhere! I think this place could be added to my “Oh my gosh I need to take pictures of awesome people here” list. Actually next weekend I think I’ll be taking my sister-in-law & her three girls to take pictures here. They are all wacky & colorful…just like The Orange Show!

Lately I’ve been lacking inspiration to shoot. I miss my camera & I hoping he misses me. So I was delighted to see that Tracey has a project going for August! Let’s all kick start our camera’s again!! 31 pictures in 31 days. A picture a day. Let’s do it!! I’m setting reminders on my phone since I’m such a forgetful girl!

I reviewed the Mediterranean Chicken dinner & it was yummmmmy! Next time I’ll remember not to put as much sauce in my meal, with any boxed dinner with a sauce you should make it to your liking (add sauce, taste, add sauce, taste, etc). But I can’t wait to try more of these Good Earth meals. They are 100% whole grain, no trans fat, no artificial flavors, no artificial preservatives, no MSG – just add meat and, BAM! Dinner is ready! I would say that this would feed a couple & a child if you don’t plan on having salad/bread/extras.

This week I finally remembered to take lots of pictures (ummm with my blackberry…) for Manic Monday! Here’s a rundown of my day. Cartoons, errands/breakfast/, dinner & movie with my JP, Jonathan & Tiffany, home, grocery store alone…end scene. Today felt so long. Like 3 days instead of just 1….ever have those kind of days?

So here in Houston we are having a cloudy, rainy, soggy day. So me & Micah are jamming to some upbeat music, dancing around like fools & just enjoying the company of each other. The song drops the f bomb a time or two, so just a warning.

So yesterday I got a new phone & it has meant bombarding my twitter with pictures. Random pictures. A train at 3am. My outfit. Micah eating (something that probably goes on 12 hours a day). Food. Random. It’s just fun, so tweet peeps….sorry for so much randomness…..wait it’s twitter…twitter was made for randomness….thank you Twitter for being so awesome!
