Fill in the blank Friday….

Are you going to join me in fill in the blank Friday!?

1.   Blogging is something I’ve done since I was 13, it’s weird but I’ve blogged before it was even called blogging!

2.  A current fashion trend I wish I was brave enough to wear is hmmmm I don’t know, I usually wear what I like & don’t really care. But last weekend I wore my new boots with shorts, now that made me nervous LOL

3.  My greatest accomplishment in life thus far is becoming a mom. I know it might sound silly but being a mom is something I’ve always wanted.
4.  If I had to choose between a mountain or a beach vacation I’d choose BEACH! I spent a week in Hawaii before, I could easily do it again!

Walking around

5.  A talent I wish I had is being able to play an instrument, I’m probably going to try and pick one up soon though.
6.  A talent I do have is being the most patient person of a group, I can keep my cool in almost any sitution.

7. This week was long, tiresome & mostly awesome.

I miss my camera…

lately I’ve been missing my camera, I just haven’t got to play with it as much but when I do I’m one happy lady! Check out some of these pictures, I really think these might have to go on a wall soon. The top two are going to be mounted in a double frame together. These were all shot with my 85mm lens & the b&w were shot in b&w. In other words, photoshopping was VERY minimal throughout these, maybe just a quick adjustment here & there but these are pretty much from the camera. I think my 85mm lens is my favorite at the moment.

Fill in the blank Friday…

I love these little things! Join me in fill in the blank Friday!?

1.   The first thing I do in the morning to start my day is start my coffee, grab almond milk & banana for Micah.
2.  Today I wish I was getting those phonecalls I’ve been waiting for.

3.  If I had an extra $100 in my bank account today I’d probably just pay bills with it, oh wait I’d hit up Lowe’s for some more paint..PROJECTS ARE NEVER DONE!!!

4.  Tomorrow I will be spending the day with my hubby & Micah, hopefully just relaxing.

5.  Two things that don’t go together are fruit & heat. I don’t like cooked fruit :/
6.  Something I can never pass up at the grocery store is looking for coupons. It’s a sick addiction.

7. The last time I tried something new was when I ate a Java Twix, it was okey but the peanut butter one is waaaay better.

Hot in here…

Micah woke up with a fever, but as happy as can be. I woke up to him kissing, hugging & talking sweetly to me. And now he is walking around talking to the animals, I don’t think they are listening though. I wonder if they have a secret cat/baby/dog language?

CHEEEEEEZ

Just Micah.

Just maybe…

I need a new look for the blog, the last one I couldn’t stand. Don’t even know why it was up for that long. I think I like this one, just a bunch of tweaking needed to be done. Maybe I’ll get to it once I finish some work. Oi. First bed, then work, then…well who knows.

Being MIA sucks.

Moving means MIA for me. My dad moving in with us means MIA for me. Getting down a new routine means MIA for me. MIA sucks. I’ve been spending tons of time with family lately. My nephew ACB3 is the newest addition to the family. He’s chubby, 3 months old and well just sooooo chubby. Micah was never chubby & he’s always been a champion eater! If they had milk guzzling competitions, he would have won. Now he could win a “this kid will eat anything but squash” contest. And that my friends is the truth.

PS – I’m emailing the last contest winner today. So check your inbox!

Getting out

My mom has recently given us a membership to the Children’s Museum & we’ve been every week since she’s given us our card. I think the greatest thing is that they have a Tot Spot for children 36 months and younger, it’s wonderful! Some of Micah’s favorite things are racing cars, playing with the over sized lite-brite, “buying” fruit and the craft center.

Today in the craft center they had play-dough but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t the play-dough brand because it smelled different it smelled REALLY good. And that’s coming from someone who enjoys the smell of play-dough! Micah was a bit confused at first…thought that maybe he was suppose to eat the squishy substance. But he wasn’t alone, a little girl at a table next to us was also trying to eat hers.

What smells bring back child hood for you? Sharpened pencils, play-dough, dirt, fresh baked cookies? What smells take you back & make you smile?
