JP got moved to a new job site and they have direct deposit, so of course we opted for that so it’ll be one less trip to the bank I have to make. I wrote down our account & routing number for him, they told him that a voided check is needed for direct deposit. Problem. We don’t have any checkbooks, I never ordered them. We pay all our bills online, there is no need for checks. Soo I got to thinking, I can’t be the only one like this. Do you use checks at all? Do you use them all the time? Are you that person at the grocery store that writes a check for a bag of bananas? Am I the only person without a checkbook? I promise I’m ordering one soon, maybe even with nauseating cute pictures on it.

I saw this video on CNN, E! & every other station but never actually got to see it because it was as I was leaving somewhere…well I finally googled it & I am happy I did! I had a great laugh for the night!! Hope this gives you a good chuckle too! Thanks Shaq!!

Halloween was a good day. JP turned 26. Micah went trick or treating for the first time. I had lots of Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake, Almond Joys & other junk filling my belly. I got tons of gasps & “OMG look at that cute baby dressed as BAM BAM!!!” comments. I was proud of my first homemade costume (even if it was a bit rough) & how social Micah was being. Oh and everytime we saw a dog out (we have one of those super friendly sorta neighborhoods) Micah would drop his bucket & going running towards the dog. Sadly I didn’t get that great of pictures of Micah’s costume since he is a mile a minute kind of kid.

I want to wish my hubby a happiest & most wonderful birthday! My Halloweenie hubby turned 26 today, sorry hun but you’re closer to 30 then 20 now! But can still honestly say you’re in your twenties, in a few years we can just lie about our age together. I love you darling & you make everyday an adventure! Even if you do make up the silliest stories just to see if I’ll believe them… Happy Birthday my love!!

This is what JP & my dad have been working on all week….yes they painted the outside of the house. The front steps need to be made over too but I’m stuck on weather to paint or build wood steps to place over the existing concrete….any suggestions? Also I want to put tons of greenery in the front the whole left side with some sort of pretty bush or flowering shrubbery & small plants on the right side behind the walkway. I never thought I’d say this…but….too bad for the cool weather coming upon us. Okey so give me ideas for the steps & what sorta greenery should go in front. Don’t mind the dead grass, we tore down a bunch of sad looking palm things. Oh and don’t mind the tape on the windows, I got excited & forgot to take it down before snapping the picture.

So here is the “sorta before” (this was once it was power washed 2x! to get off all the peeling paint, dirt, etc) and the “for now after”. That reminds me I need to go paint the mailbox white! Ohhh and did you notice we added a screen door? Snazzy huh?

SImple question. Do you iron your linens? Sheets, comforters, duvets, towels, etc. Fess up do you go iron crazy on them? I’ve never thought to iron my linens, I mean what’s the point right? That bed is going to get wrinkly in your first night sleep anyway, but it looks soooo good that first fresh time! So do you iron everything including your panties? TELL ME! I don’t even know where my iron is, I’m a jeans & tshirts kinda person…sorry no fancy straight pants for me.

I’m feeling pretty good these days. Tired but not stressed. A month or ago I had two straight weeks of nightmares, I was afraid to sleep. Most of my dreams were about zombies attacking, my body rotting or something in that nature. I woke up in deep sweats quite a few times. Thank goodness my nightmares are gone.
