Friday was the 5th year celebrating the marriage of JP & myself. For five crazy, wonderful & beautiful years we have been married. And the adventures & fun we have been through have been great so far. I’m excited to see what the next five years hold for us. The best thing we’ve done in the past five years? Having Micah, it’s amazing to see how a couple can become even stronger with the love of a child entering the family.

To my husband, thank you for putting up with my daily crazy for the last five years. Love Wife.

Halloween (& JP’s birthday) was a pretty good time. We played, gave out candy, ate pie & finished most of our move. Micah enjoys all the creepy decor that JP’s dad puts on the porch, something screams bloody murder everytime you step foot on the porch. So many scared children. Spreaking of children, there was a group so large it looked like they would have to fit into a RV (wonder how much rv insurance runs..). Seriously 15 kids in a group can be tiring.

He is a very healthy eater. And not the least bit picky. How awesome for me. He’ll eat his veggies, pastas, fruits and of course the occasional sweet. Oh yes he loves his sweets just as much as I do…he probably got that from me. Moving drains the life out of you, I have to go run some errands & get some free insurance quotes. Later!

We’re moving today but I just wanted to pop-in (avoid doing stuff…) & say hello. Oh and this song pulls at my heart. It’s a perfect song.

Tomorrow and only tomorrow you can get half off EVERYTHING at Payless shoe stores! As far as I know there are no in-store restrictions..does that mean I’ll be hitting up the clearance items? Uh yes, cheap just got cheaper!! I know a few of my fellow bloggers who will like this…not naming names or anything.. Help me! I keep putting off packing, I hate packing but someone has to do it. I think I’m about 1/3 to half done? Someone come help me okey? I just want to play with Micah and his huge tub of toys. Little people galore. Okey I’m going to eat some late lunch & then do some more…packing. BLAH! Ohhh I have pictures of Micah eating spaghetti for the first time, can’t wait to share those. Messy babies are cute!

Ugh I’ve been finding so much random crap while packing…I wouldn’t be surprised if I found horse supplements or something else just as random.

One of my favorite bands of the moment is for sure Skillet. They are on heavy rotation on my iTunes, Jen Ledger is the woman vocals & her voice is heaven! Her voice is similar to Hayley Williams (of Paramore) which is also heavy on my iTunes rotation as of lately. It’s this clean, soothing voice that I just can’t get enough of. You won’t see any of them with breeches in the videos, maybe in a Taylor Swift video…something with horses? Random I know. Sometimes all you need is a smile to help you get through the day. When I’m having a rough day (or maybe week), all Micah has to do is give me his big goofy smile. And it’s nice when he adds a hug or kiss to the mix, but smiles do wonders for the soul. I mean a vacation would be wonderful (maybe something easy like Outer Banks vacation rental or something) but for now these smiles will help me when I’m feeling foul. And with moving I need all the smiles I can get. Today try to smile at three people through your day, I know I’m a smiling fool so if you see me I’ll probably smile at you.

I’ve been neglecting my blog lately. I’ve been overwhelmed with thoughts of our move this week, moving into a tiny home is something that takes a certain mind frame…I have it. Now packing that’s where I have my problem, I hate packing. BLAH! We’ve also been busy with finishing the build, this weekend we looked at water filters to filter the water for the whole place. How awesome is that? We’re way out of the city and have well water, so having filtered water is very important to me. We finished all the electricity this past weekend, fun fun.

Micah is ready for a nap, but I’m going to stop neglecting my poor blog.

So all the costumes I’ve seen in Micah’s size (12 months) are really THICK & heavy. And there is a good chance it won’t be freezing here & my big boy sweats when it’s hotter then 70*F in the house. Sooo I was thinking to MAKE his costume but I’m a little indecisive & just lost. Personally I’m thinking a Chipndales dance…black pants, cuffs, bowtie, $1 bills… oh yeeeahh, see link. Do you have any ideas?

I remember being a kid & having homemade costumes. My grandma would make sew yarn into my witches hat. And I want to give Micah those memories, store bought costumes are great but making something more original is more in the Halloween spirit I love!
