Had a fun little photo shoot this morning. I’m not totally happy with it, but I hardly ever am. I just wanted to share with y’all. Which is your favorite?

I need to order these dang shoes tonight! So help me pick a pair of shoes! So this is the dress I’ll be wearing. It looks freaking amazing on me, I don’t say that about many clothing items. Micah stole the free dog I got while at Victoria’s Secret. He gave it a lot of hugs then threw it in a bin with all his other toys…

Yesterday I would have loved to post about my precious son turning one. How he’s changed my life & how I thank God for him everyday. But my internet was down so now the day after his first birthday I’m posting. It just doesn’t have the same impact.

Last night while laying in bed, I talked to JP about just how amazing this past year has been with Micah. We talked about how scary our first night in the hospital was, when I was in the Operating Room for over three hours & him not being able to see me or Micah. We talked about how amazing it is to be parents. And memories of this past year.

Over a year later and we are a happy family together. I just can’t put into words how much love I have for this tiny boy. Micah will never know just how much I love him, but I will always try to show him how much I have for him. Does anyone remember this video from a little less the a year ago?

If this post doesn’t make sense it’s because I’m chugging Theraflu for some sinus/congestion. So take it easy on me. Oh yes and have a mentioned that we’ve been nurse free since the new year? AND he only had one bad night of fighting for it? How awesome is that?

Oh yes he actually plays well with others, aside for the kissing you but really trying to bite you stage he’s going through. But how could you be upset with a face like this?

The man who owns the house next door is fixing it up for the next set of renters since he just bought it. He’s been hiring my dad for odd jobs & every time he comes over he brings baked goods from the donut shop he bakes for. This could be a very bad thing for me. Today he brought five or six dozen baked goodies for us. The large box looked promising..

But I had no idea what would happen once I opened it…

Oh so many to choose from…let’s take a closer look at these babies…sprinkles, chocolate, coconut…which one to choose? Or should I resist?

Well I guess I could just take a picture of my favorite…you know just a picture…

Okey so just taking a picture didn’t work…I was going to take more pictures but it disappeared into then air…no idea how that happened…

This weekend was spent visiting family, playing with Micah, playing Little Big Planet with JP & taking plenty of pictures to feed my addiction. Oh and booking photoshoots for this upcoming week (I’ll share those when they happen). If you haven’t noticed I changed the Victoria’s Secret Giveaway so now we will have one grand prize & 3 runner up prizes! Last night we went to a place I dreaded ever having to take Micah to….Chuck E. Cheese. My lovely niece Perla turned six years old so I was obligated to celebrate at this rat haven. We went to a newly built one that was much spacier, I didn’t feel like I was sitting on people while playing games like usual though. Micah enjoyed eating cheese pizza & salad…washed it all down with a cup of cold water. That boy can eat! Who would have thought that he’d eat a slice and a half of pizza? Geez this boy can eat like his mama, I could have easily taken down a whole pizza but behaved myself unlike my son.

Micah enjoyed the car rides that bounced around & anything with a steering wheel. He looked like JP when he drives, smacking the steering wheel & screaming….must be where he learned his driving behavior. I got to play my favorite game…skeeball! Granted I was holding Micah 90% of the time so I didn’t do too well…high score of only 28,000. So Chuck E. Cheese wasn’t too horrible, but I won’t be going again if it isn’t for someone’s birthday celebration.
