Micah is finally getting his third and fourth tooth on bottom which means life has been hell since Thursday/Friday. That’s when I believe they broke through because he gave me such problems! I think the majority of the pain is finally gone seeing that he slept through the night last night & didn’t act a fool. I’m sorry but this kid spoiled me as a newborn, he wasn’t one to keep me up for night upon night without sleep. And after we stopped nursing he completely stopped waking up any night time snack. SPOILED. Yes my son spoiled me. I don’t know if I couldn’t have another kid, what’s the chances I’d get a kid as awesome as Micah again?

I mean my dad said I was the same way as Micah (a chilled kid) so they had another kid…out came my brother, Tony. OH EM GEE. That right there should scare me, he is well…let’s just say he’s a handful. Even to this day at the age of 22, he’s a big ole’ pain in the butt. Tony is the reason my dad decided to get…”fixed” as he likes to call it. So another child scares the poop out of me. It seems like a lot of families have the good child followed by hell on wheels child…. what is with that?

Since it is late & my brain feels fried from allergies I’ll just leave you with all that to wonder just how nutty I might be.

My son can sure put away a lot of food. This whole plate minus some of the shreds of lettuce were devoured by Micah for dinner last week. I’m afraid for the teen years….I can’t even imagine him if his appetite continues like this. He’s always been a big eater. Note the little the hand going for the food…

This afternoon I went with Micah to Whole Foods planning to get some of their delicious Chicken Noodle soup but they weren’t offering it today. So we got a fruit & nut cookie to share. We sat outside to take in the beautiful weather that Mother Nature gave us today.

And then I decided I was hungry since it was already 1pm and I hadn’t ate all day we grabbed some sushi. And before you call me a bad more for putting cookies before food, Micah had already had lunch but he’s like me….always ready to eat. And I would have done the cookies before lunch anyway, so suck a toe. Micah just had some simple avocado rolls which he devoured. Once in awhile I would put a tiny bit of soy sauce on a piece, he loved it.

After we filled our bellies with deliciousness we hung out outside some more, it was just such a beautiful day I couldn’t help but want to enjoy the day. We played on a fail whale & then headed home for a nap. All that eating & enjoying life can wear you out!

I’ve been trying to keep up with getting in 20 to 30 minutes of yoga a day. I might fail today, I’m beyond tired and just want to go to bed. What gets you to exercise when you really just rather be lazy? I mean the love handles should be enough to motivate me…right? I’m tired.

Today was my Uncle Pat’s birthday and before it my cousin came over to hang out. Well we decided to pull a sofa onto the lawn & take some pictures for the heck of it. Not the best pictures in the world but they were just being so cute I have to post a few. More on flickr but these were my favorites.

When we first moved into the land of “what the frick the closest store is how far?!” we knew there were going to be a lot of changes to be made. First of all we don’t get trash service..yeah you heard me right. Good thing I recycle a bunch. Of course the closest store is a long dark, scary road that you could imagine a guy with a chainsaw running in the middle of after chopping someone up in the woods next to it. Uh yeah my imagination runs wild, since moving out here I’ve made sure not to watch too many scary movies. Next we didn’t have a mailbox we had to put one up and then inform the post office of it.

So one weekend we put up our mailbox, informed the post office & easy peasy. My outgoing mail would disappear anytime I would put it out & get to its final destination. But I never saw a mailtruck, as much as I’m home I would think I would have seen one. One day I saw a silver car puting something in my mailbox…wtf? That’s illegal right? My dad was with me as I started to rant & go to the mailbox to throw whatever it was away. Well…it was legit mail. Our city/town/smallsville doesn’t have mail trucks… the mail people have to use their own vehicles!

Is this weird to anyone but myself?

My dear Micah likes to eat. My dear Micah likes to ignore me while eating. My dear Micah likes loves me. Tonight while we were settling in on the sofa watching a movie he was just hugging & kissing me. He would look up at me give me a huge smile then give me a squeeze with his chubby arms around me. When I look into his gorgeous blue eyes all I see is pure love looking back at me. It’s amazing how such a tiny person can make you feel so important.
