I was just washing my face..
This is the sort of thing that I walk in on after washing my face in the morning. He saw me pulling the sofa cushions up to vacuum inside of them a couple of weeks ago & now he loves pulling the middle cushion up. At first it was just up & he would sit inside with the cushion resting on his head. Now he pulls it off & sits in the sofa. And this time he was trying to sneak a snack! All while I was washing my face.
Three Apples…
Yesterday while I was cleaning up & puting some groceries away Micah thought he could help. He grabbed the bag of apples & started to go through them. I didn’t mind because I would soon take them to be put away. Then I noticed him putting apples to the side of him… and slowly pulling them out one by one instead of his crazy throwing them all out like he usually would. He was taking a bite or two out of each apple looking at it then proceeded to put it to the side. He got three apples in before I stopped him….that little butt head. Guess what my snacks where today? We actually both had an apple & shared the last one. And as you can probably guess, Micah wasn’t too happy with me taking a picture of his apples. He wanted them back. PRONTO. He did get the one he took the most bites out of back right after the picture & he ate it until he hit the core…like he always does.
Stack them up!
I like these stacking rings much better then the plastic rings that you HAVE to stack a certain way or they won’t all fit. And these are wood, I adore wood toys. Can you believe they were $5 at Wal-Mart? They are that Granimals brand. I just couldn’t believe it when I saw them! Micah really enjoys stacking & sorting things so it was the perfect new toy for him. These toys are also good for teaching smallest to largest & colors! I’m way too excited over a $5 toy…any other moms get excited like this? Let me know I’m not alone on this…
Crusty Micah
So a lot of times I won’t post pictures because Micah is covered in banana crust..he eats two a day usually (along with his one or two apples a day). Yes I wipe the crust off of him but he usually does the cutest things right after eating because he’s in such a good & energetic mood. So I thought I’d just explain the crust that you see in so many pictures (or will see). On the face, tshirt, shorts and most of the time he wipes his gross little hands on my shirt too.
Giveaway: Seventh Generation Prize Pack!
I’m slowly making my way to a greener way of life. And one way I’m doing that is by using Seventh Generation cleaning products, while I was pregnant with Micah I would clean & inhaling all those awful fumes that traditional cleaners let out frightened me a bit. Breathing in that bleach & heavy smells…that just can’t be good for you. So I started making my own cleaning supplies from vinegar, baking soda & lemon juice. But JP didn’t “trust” they were truly getting things clean & swore he could always smell the vinegar. So I started using store bought cleaners and Seventh Generation is my favorite brand of Earth friendly products. They get everything sparkling clean without me gasping for “fresh” air. I know lots of people don’t think that a “green” product can do the job that traditional cleaners do…but they do the same job that any other cleaner does.
Would you like to win a prize packed filled with awesome Seventh Generation products? The kit includes a disinfecting multi-surface cleaner, bathroom cleaner, wipes , a copy of The Conscious Kitchen, a cleaning caddy made from recycled plastic, and two rolls of 100% recycled, unbleached paper towels.
You can earn up to four entries to the giveaway by these various ways, each entry has to be on a separate comment. 1 comment = 1 entry, 4 comments = 4 entries.

It’s going to be wild…
So sometime this week I’m hoping to drive my hiney to Brenham, TX so I can take pictures of Micah in a field of blue bonnets. Brenham is suppose to be the best area to take pictures of them soooo Brenham it is! I’m so excited too, I’m planning Micah’s outfit & just really excited to take him for some pictures.
Tomorrow I’m going to an office….to do…work. Working in an office? Has hell frozen over? No, no it hasn’t but I also didn’t get an office job just doing some design work for a company & I want to see what all the company is working with, get samples done, etc. Micah gets the honor of spending time with his wonderful cousin Cheyenne, while I’m off playing office.
I have a feeling this week will be good. I can’t divulge too many details but I have a hopeful heart for the week.
Best of Jim & Dwight.
Did you know that The Office is one of my favorite shows? Yes…it is. And this video shows just why.
Think Positive.
Think positive. That’s what I need to do. I have a few things that could go REALLY right in my life right now that could make a world of difference. But I have to be patient and think positive. I mean how can I be so patient when these things could be SOOOO good if they happened? HOW? How can I get my mind onto other things? Oh and the reason for the biggest smile on my face for the day…Micah kissing, hugging & petting Max to sleep.
