Sometimes I just get too busy to make up homemade mashed potatoes and I have a picky husband who won’t eat boxed potatoes. Well guess what? I made these and he didn’t even notice they were boxed! And he HAS noticed boxed potatoes before, it was amazing! Now I can make mashed potatoes even when I only have a short amount of time to make them in! And even better I add some bacon bits, sour cream, butter or cheese to make them seem a bit more homemade! I was very doubtful that these would past the taste test of my husband but he has given them a big thumbs up! HOORAY! And of course Micah approves, but that’s nothing new. He’ll eat almost anything! I reviewed the Mediterranean Chicken dinner & it was yummmmmy! Next time I’ll remember not to put as much sauce in my meal, with any boxed dinner with a sauce you should make it to your liking (add sauce, taste, add sauce, taste, etc). But I can’t wait to try more of these Good Earth meals. They are 100% whole grain, no trans fat, no artificial flavors, no artificial preservatives, no MSG – just add meat and, BAM! Dinner is ready! I would say that this would feed a couple & a child if you don’t plan on having salad/bread/extras.

Lately I’ve been hooked on trail mix bars so this review & giveaway came at a perfect time. With a 30 count box of these Nature Valley Bars I was a very excited! These trail mix bars are great for keeping in my purse & taking with us to the park. These bars are filled with almonds, peanuts, raisins and my favorite thing cranberries! YUM! Just an all around great taste & Micah will fight me for one of these. Just yesterday I got attacked for my trail mix bar by Micah!
