Okey okey I know I sounded very dissappointed with not finding out the sex of the baby but really it’s not a HUGE deal. I’m enjoying being pregnant, it would be nice to call my belly something other then ‘kid’ but I’m just happy that my baby is healthy. I’d love to know the sex of the baby but if I didn’t find out until the day he/she was born that would be fine.

So I have to run out and run some errands, get quite a bit of work done & clean the house. But I wanted to make a quick post with a request…well a request for requests! What do you want to see a picture of? Something in my house, a piece of my life, etc. I just feel like taking pictures..haha

Well the umbilical cord was buddled up between the baby’s legs so we thought there would be no way to know what the baby is. Doctor J bounced my belly and sent the baby flying around, just going nuts. You could see the kid jumping around on the screen just going totally insane. Once the baby calmed down we took a few more minutes to look at the baby, we saw it’s cute little foot (perfect little ultrasound image below!) and it’s alien-like face (the doctor had a chuckle when I brought up that my kid looks like an alien). And then for a second Doctor J started staring hard at the screen and said “well I MIGHT know what the baby is…do you two want to know?” OF COURSE!!! And he goes “Well I’m about 70% sure it’s a girl…hmmm see that that and that well that’s what has me thinking that you are going to have a ….WOAH wait a minute! Scratch that I thought I just saw something else…that would make it a boy!” And then the baby moved in a way where the umbilical cord was back in the way and Doctor J tells us “I can’t give you any guess now, it could be either a girl or boy. But I promise it’s one of them.” Me and JP just had a laugh & we asked when would we be able to have another ultrasound….in THREE months!!! Nooooooooooooo!!! Another three months of not knowing the sex, I’ll be 7 months when I find out the sex of the baby! Well one good thing about it? I can’t shop if I don’t know the sex of the baby! Okey I just can’t wait until my next OB/GYN appointment on the 11th! I have another ultrasound like I’ve mentioned before and it’s all I can think about right now. But that’s partly because I bought a bunch of baby clothes for my brother’s baby boy (due in October) that came today, I ordered from the Children’s Place Monster Sale. I got 12 items (including tiny cargo shorts, t-shirts & onesies) for $41, that includes tax & shipping! I almost want to keep a few items for myself…if well my little cupcake is a boy!

So I decided to keep up my “OMG WHAT IS THIS FETUS INSIDE ME?” spirit up, I would have a Guess the Fetus contest! So go ahead and guess the fetus’ sex. I’ll answer any questions that might “help” you guess the sex! And I know there will be multiple “winners” but if you guess the sex correct your name will go into a drawing for a $25 amazon.com gift certificate!

So we have a tropical storm coming our way so the grocery stores are cleared out, seriously do people not keep food in their house? LOL I went to pick up just a few things on my list and quite a few things were just not there, water is totally wiped out but luckily I have enough bottled water. There were some snacks for Bruce I wanted to get and they were all out…but they had tons on sale for 50-75% off so…yeah he got 3 bags of chew treats. Oh man check out my freebies for this week, I did awesome!

My baby bump is showing! I was at the washeteria getting change & talking to the lady who works there about how hot it was that day (105*F), then she blurts out “So when are you due?” haha I always have the dumbest look on my face & feel like I have a sign on my head saying “Baby on Board!”.  On the 11th we miiight find out the sex of the little cupcake, another ultrasound! Yay!

Am I tiring everyone out on baby talk just yet? If not, well here is another baby post. Yesterday was my 3 month appointment. I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect but I now know I’m going to be peeing in a cup every time so I’ll have to start bringing something to drink because I can’t drink room temperature water. So I had questions about my lack of meat eatting, if I could have sushi, how often, etc. And it all looks good, he okey’d me for sushi once a week & I can get my protein through milk, beans & my alternative meat products. So after talking he told me lay down and we’ll listen to the babies heartbeat. My heart dropped & then fluttered away when I heard my little cupcakes heartbeat. It was overwhelming hearing my babies heartbeat. And I was told that I’ll be having an ultrasound on my next appointment…and we might even be able to tell the sex of the baby!!! O-M-G! I’m very excited & just can’t wait!!

Oh and with my night (and now all day) sickness I lost a bit of weight sadly, but with my vitamins &  eatting 6 small meals a day I should be able to get back on track with food. I found a food last night that REALLY hit the spot and easy on the stomach…. bagel with cream cheese! Of course with a mug of milk! JP was so sweet and went to the store for me last night for bagels & cream cheese because that’s the ONLY thing I could even think of that I could eat. And it seriously hit the spot, I’m actually about to have a bagel for breakfast right now! Everyone have a wonderful day!!

I really didn’t think I was showing as much as I am, I’m not one to ogle myself in the mirror and obsess over ever pound. Although I haven’t gained any weight at all, my stomach is getting a roundish eggish thing. And I was showing J.P., he just shrugged and said “I guess”. Well I went to CVS to pick up some garbage bags (can’t believe we ran out!) & when I was checking out with a nice girl who works there who I actually love checking out with (not the mean lady who hates me saving money)…okey wait where was I? Oh yeah well I was swiping my card, making small talk & she just casually goes “So do you know if it’s a girl or boy?”. My jaw DROPPED and I whispered “how’d you know?!”. She laughed saying she seems me in the store all the time and she noticed my stomach, I just laughed and told her I don’t find out until September.

Well I thought that was hiliarious and couldn’t wait to tell J.P. when he gets home from playing basketball, well when I’m coming in the house I notice my downstairs neighor was pulling in & had her dog with her. So I decided to say hello & since I haven’t seen her dog in forever I played with him. Then she asked very quietly if I was pregnant & then my due date. LOL HARLARIOUS!!!!! Okey well I have to go do “chores” so see you guys later.

Yessss I’m pregnant! Some of you guys guessed correct…well that was the only guess How did everyone know I wanted to be a mommy so much? I’m about 9 weeks right now and couldn’t be any happier. I wanted to wait to announce this until my first doctor’s appointment, which I had last Monday. It was one of the most unusual appointments because it wasn’t just for me…it was for the little cupcake in the oven. And well we girls know how the doctor loves poking and checking out those girly areas that not everyone likes flashing around… Okey well there we go, the beans are spilled
