Micah’s first zoo trip!
Posted by admin on May 11th, 2010 . Filed under: Being Mom, Pictures .Last week Micah enjoyed his first day at the zoo. He was determined to be a big boy by walking around, not holding my hand & pushing his stroller himself. Oh okey….but when he saw the any of the fish tanks he would be climbing up me in a split second. But overall it was a fun trip, he enjoyed the animals much more then I even thought he would. Anytime he would spot an animal, he would point to it & just sit/stand watching. The monkey area was his favorite I would have to guess since there was a more structured walk way with almost no people in the area I let him walk around with us by himself. Most of the time he would come running along when I asked him to, but he got plenty of space to run from monkey to monkey! I was just so happy that he enjoyed it so much, I don’t know why I had doubts. He loves the outdoors & animals so it was a sure hit!

So adorable!I love that fish tunnel was that for kids to crawl through? I haven’t been to the zoo in years I want to go soon, Maybe I’ll organize a trip with my nieces and nephew that would be so cute. I was going to respond to you on twitter but I am private and I don’t think you would have seen my response so I just wanted to say I love reading your site but sometimes I don’t comment on the blogs I read because I read and don’t have time to comment/tell myself I’ll leave one later and forget! hahaha <3

LOL The tunnel is for kids but I crawled half way through trying to coax Micah through it..didn’t really work. Those fish were just too scary!! You should try organizing a trip, especially before it gets too hot this summer.
Thanks for commenting, yeah I understand the whole commenting thing. It can get time consuming I suppose…especially if your favorite blogs list is half the size of mine

awww micah is so adorable i could eat him up:) my kids would love to see that. it’s so hot down here (in the 90s) that we can’t do anything till later in the day. it’s such a bad timing because the usually take their naps by then. my kids enjoyed looking at the picture of ur son and the animals
