I do everything online, but your bank should have a direct deposit sheet that can be filled out and submitted to payroll just like a void cheque. It’s what I’ve always used since cheques cost me money.

I pay everything online that I can. I write out checks for rent. I do keep a large purse so I usually carry my checkbook and I’m happy I do since the grocery store’s system was down last week and they could only accept cash or check. All I was buying was a soda and a candy bar but I needed it since I just got a “no cavity” report from the dentist, haha!

I use checks more often now – I pay the Boyfriend rent and then he pays it online. I also have been using it to write checks to previous landlords.. and also to sign up for team sports.

I actually use checks now. I use to pay online. But then there was an unfortunate “computer glitch” that resulted in our car payment being taken out 100 times and our bank account being negative $36,000.00!!! For FOUR months! So I must say, I am paranoid and only use checks!
