Happy Valentine’s Day
Posted by admin on February 14th, 2009 . Filed under: Daily .Valentine’s day is here and I know a lot of couples make a huge fuss over it but it never has been a big deal for us. Me & JP show our love & appreciation for each other every day so we don’t take Valentine’s day serious. He’ll buy me tulips some years but we won’t be going out to dinner because it is ridiculous how busy restaurants get. My favorite thing to do for Valentine’s day is stay at home with the hubby (and now that will include baby too) while eating a homemade meal & watching movies. Luckily we got Burn after Reading & Nights in Rodanthe from Netflix yesterday. So what are you doing for Valentine’s day? I wish I was one of those people who got excited over this day but I’m just not. I’ll take a cell tower for Vday though.

We went out yesterday to see a movie with 2 passes I got at Christmas and ate out. Tonight we are making pizza together, and watching Death Race or Bottle Shock that we got from Netflix too. We don’t give presents, but I do give my husband a card, and this year I had a card mailed to him from our baby who will be here in 35 days give or take a few. He hasn’t gotten home to see the mail yet though, so that will be a surprise.
Have fun with your lovely family tonight.

Burn After Reading is the weirdest movie ever! You’ll have to let us know if you liked it or not!

Regan and I don’t do anything for Valentine’s day either – I would get so mad knowing how much he spent on flowers or dinner out!! LOL I rather just spend a nice night at home

We go to dinner. Sometimes we get so busy we forget to go out together. So we make a point on Valentines Day,our birthdays, and our anniversary to do just that. We try to get out once a week, but if we are in fail mode those days get us back on track.

Cutest pic ever!
But I agree, I have never been a big V-day person. It to me is just another excuse for people to make other people buy things for them. Pointless.
