Today I had Micah in his crib with a small stuffed duck on one side & a cow on the other side since he was awake. He stared at the duck and started swatting at him. I thought it was sooo adorable that I went to get my camera to take a video because it might make a cute video for JP’s blog, you know Micah getting revenge on the ducks? :whine: Well anyways I couldn’t find my camera, I was searching all over but I stumbled upon my wedding band. And I thought “hmmm I wonder if this thing will fit me already” well sure enough that sucker glided on my finger & then it started to swell. It was tight, very tight. Ow. O_o  OMG OMG OMG My finger is turning purplish red…OMG OMG OMG. I went to the bathroom & put liquid soap on it trying to get it to glide off. Didn’t work. So then I tried vaseline, then oil, then I soaked it in cold water, then a bag of frozen veggies and then I tried holding it in the air. And my finger kept swelling, it was getting huge. The ring wouldn’t budge after 45 minutes of me trying so hard to get it off, I cried. Yup I cried because I felt silly & was afraid my finger would need to be cut off. Crazy thoughts kept running through my head. I called JP crying and he rushed home to see what the fuss was. His words? “How did you even get it on?!?!” and he urged me to go to the fire house a block away from our house. And since I was so freaked out I just went, they tried to put soap on it to pull it off but it didn’t budge because it was so swollen. So they got the ring cutter out, it’s like a small can opener that slowly grinds the ring down. But the ring cutter was dull and took forever to get just half way through so they had to grab a pair of wire cutters & I prayed that they didn’t cut my finger off. And thank goodness they cut that sucker off and not my finger. So now I have a white gold wedding band that is cut in half but JP was going to buy me a “Your a wonderful wife for having my baby” ring so I should have a new ring sooner or later. Next time I’ll just stick to jewelry that won’t get stuck on me like Swiss Army watches. So yeah I do stupid shit and I’m sure plenty of people will have a laugh on me
