Your total went from $178 to $77? That’s awesome… Well, except for the cashier being rude.

I wish we had coupons like that in Australia, we just have Flybuys and cash back on expensive electrical (mainly HP and Sony) and white good items. Doesn’t really save you money though.

I hate people like that! Sometimes, if I really feel like being a complete bitch, I’ll tell the manager. It’s so mean, but if people don’t like their jobs, they should just quit!

And like Leanne said– it takes TWO SECONDS! If the coupon doesn’t work, it’ll not go through. Maybe it’s the wrong product or maybe you were supposed to buy two instead of just one. Whatever the case, it shouldn’t take a cashier to actually go through each individual item to find if the coupon works or not.

Dude, seriously! What a jerk. I had a lady like that last night at Wal-Mart and she was like going through all my stuff too to make sure I got the stuff that was on my coupons – I was like um ok. Also, she didn’t say one word to me the entire transaction! Don’t these people get paid to do this? LOL. Some people are so uptight! Get over it, that’s why coupons are made!

I used to work as a cashier, and what annoyed me wasn’t the fact that people wanted to use coupons and divide their groceries into separate transactions, but that they wouldn’t READ THE COUPON. Sometimes people use expired coupons or pick up the wrong item entirely. Regardless, I was never rude like the girl you talked about!

It’s funny that you mention men valuing money more than women – I read that in the newest Cosmo last night! If the economy is doing poorly, men are more “on edge” because their money is in jeopardy. Interesting!

Geez :/ I mean, it’s so freaking easy to accept coupons..I don’t know why people like her get so annoyed with. All they have to do is make sure its valid (IE, expiry date) and enter the amount as a vendor coupon. Takes two freaking seconds…

I have a few coupons that I haven’t used yet…. I’m nervous that i’m going to get someone like her! Haha.
